EMSA-BUC (BUCSA) was founded on 25 September 2025 as the official representative of EMSA Egypt at Badr University in Cairo. In one year we built our identity, our governance and a full portfolio of activities, entirely run by students.
We coordinate across three institutional identities. To keep them aligned we introduced standard administrative templates and a mandatory EMSA-BUC uniform.

BUC Student HubHigher Committee for medical student activities at BUCTo be the leading student medical body at Badr University in Cairo, cultivating a generation of physicians who are clinically competent, socially aware, and engaged in public health and community medicine, under the national umbrella of EMSA Egypt and the mentorship of Shamseya NGO.
To represent EMSA Egypt within BUC by organizing scientific, clinical and public-health activities that build members’ leadership, teamwork and clinical coordination skills, while serving the university community through student-led field initiatives and health research.

Identity and governance first, then a diverse, student-led portfolio: clinical skills, mental health, public health screening and scientific representation.
Each square is one member. The Core Team runs day-to-day execution and keeps decisions continuous. All planning, coordination and delivery is handled by students.
All activities pause one week before exams, and the workload is spread across the 119-member Core Team. Medical school comes first, and member wellbeing is protected by design.

Our Unions are general assemblies where members finalize bylaws and Plans of Action together.
Standard templates and a mandatory uniform keep us consistent across EMSA Egypt, Shamseya NGO and the BUC Student Hub.
